Does the beep happen exactly when the bar hits zero?

The system emits a 50ms beep via the Web Audio API precisely when the bar crosses the center line.

How to Use

  1. Put on your Bluetooth headphones.
  2. Click Start Audio Test.
  3. Watch the moving bar. Does the beep sound exactly when the bar crosses the red line?
  4. If the beep sounds after the bar has crossed the line, you have audio latency (common with Bluetooth).

Acceptable Latency Thresholds

  • 0 - 20ms: Imperceptible (Wired, AptX Low Latency)
  • 20 - 45ms: Barely noticeable to most
  • 45 - 100ms: Lip-sync feels slightly "off"
  • 100ms+: Highly distracting (Standard SBC Bluetooth)
