Why 4K isn't always sharp

A 65-inch 4K TV has the exact same number of pixels as a 27-inch 4K computer monitor. However, the pixels on the TV are physically much larger. This is measured in Pixels Per Inch (PPI).

A 65-inch 4K TV has a PPI of ~68. A 27-inch 4K monitor has a PPI of ~163. If you sit 2 feet away from the 65-inch TV, it will look incredibly blurry. If you sit 10 feet away, your eyes cannot resolve the individual pixels anyway.
